Examination Process

UVT’s certification exams are designed to rigorously assess a candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities in a specific vocational field. Examinations are conducted under secured, proctored environments either onsite at designated UVT centers or through secure online platforms.

Evaluation Criteria

Exams are evaluated based on objective criteria that include multiple-choice questions, practical tasks, and scenario-based questions. The criteria are designed to measure:

  • Theoretical Knowledge
  • Practical Skills
  • Problem-solving Abilities
  • Ethical Understanding

Grading Scale

Examinations are graded on a scale from 0 to 100. The minimum passing score varies by certification but is typically 70 or above. Grades are categorized as follows:

  • 90-100: Excellent
  • 80-89: Very Good
  • 70-79: Good (Pass)
  • Below 70: Unsatisfactory (Fail)

Retake Policy

Candidates who do not pass the exam on the first attempt may retake it after a waiting period of 30 days. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts in a 12-month period.

Accommodations for Special Needs

UVT is committed to ensuring that all candidates have a fair opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. Accommodations are available for individuals with documented disabilities.

Appeal Process

If a candidate believes that their examination was not conducted or evaluated fairly, they may file a formal appeal with UVT. Detailed instructions for the appeal process are available.
