Abiding by the international standards, UVT certifications come with a predefined validity period, ensuring that the certification holders maintain the most recent and relevant skills in their field. Periodic renewal ensures adherence to the ever-evolving vocational landscape.

Validity Period

UVT certifications typically have a validity of three years from the date of issuance. However, certain specialized certifications may have different validity periods based on international vocational qualification standards.

Renewal Process

1. Notification: Certification holders will receive a renewal notification via email approximately six months before the expiration date.
2. Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Renewal often requires the completion of specific CPD hours. This ensures that the certification holders stay updated in their respective fields.
3. Application: Log into the UVT portal and access the renewal section. Complete the renewal application and submit any necessary documentation, such as proof of CPD hours.
4. Fees: A renewal fee is applicable, which varies depending on the certification. Payment can be made directly through the UVT portal.
5. Verification: UVT will verify the submitted details and CPD hours. On successful verification, the certification will be renewed.

Failure to Renew

Failure to renew your certification before its expiration date will result in its invalidation. Individuals with expired certifications will need to undergo the full certification process again to regain their credentials.
