UVT Certification Validity and Update Guidelines
International Professional Qualification Standards
UVT certification complies with international standards and has a predetermined validity period, ensuring that certification holders have the latest and most relevant skills in their field. Regular updates can ensure compliance with the constantly changing professional environment.
Term of Validity
Most UVT certificates are lifetime certified and do not require regular updates; a small number of professional certificates are valid for three years from the date of issuance. For these certificates, the certification holder is required to complete the update process upon expiration.
Update Program
- Notice: Certification holders with a validity period of three years will receive an update notification via email approximately six months before expiration.
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Updating typically requires completing a specific number of CPD hours to assist the holder in maintaining professional updates.
- Application: Log in to the UVT portal and enter the update section, fill out the update application and submit relevant documents, such as CPD hour proof.
- Fee: A tuition fee is required, which varies depending on the type of certification and can be paid directly through the UVT portal.
- Verification: UVT will verify the submitted detailed information and CPD records. If approved, the certification will be renewed.
Failed to Update
For certificates with a validity period of three years, if the renewal is not completed within the validity period, the certificate will become invalid. Individuals who have expired need to retake the certification exam to obtain the certificate again.
