UVT's Certification Rules and Requirements

Introduction

UVT, adhering to international standards, has set forth specific rules and requirements for obtaining certifications. These standards ensure the credibility, relevance, and value of UVT certifications in the vocational arena.

General Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Provide proof of identity and legal status.

Training and Educational Prerequisites

While some certifications may require prior training or formal education in the relevant field, others might only necessitate on-the-job experience.

  • For Specialist Certifications: Completion of an accredited vocational training program related to the field.
  • For Basic Certifications: No formal training required but a recommended minimum of one year of work experience in the field.

Examination Rules

  • Exams must be taken at authorized UVT testing centers.
  • Candidates should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the examination start time.
  • Valid identification is required for entry into the exam.
  • Unauthorized materials, including books, notes, or electronic devices, are prohibited in the examination room.

Code of Ethics

Every UVT certification holder must adhere to the UVT Code of Ethics, emphasizing professionalism, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence. Breach of this code may result in the revocation of the certification.
